The Military Doesn't Like 'Em Either

Cheney Fields Tough Questions From Troops:

"The skepticism that Cheney faced reflects opinions back home, where most Americans say they do not approve of President Bush's handling of the war. It was unique coming from a military audience, which typically receives administration officials more enthusiastically."

This bullshit "troops support the adminsitration come hell or high water" jingoism is really just plain untrue. These guys aren't stupid. They're working the day-to-day on this war. They've got questions, and Bush Co. hasn't got any good answers. All they've got is their dog and pony shows that they put on. Have you noticed that about this administration? Whenever things aren't going well, they go and put on another dog and pony show, tell a few lies, and hope no one reports the facts or calls them on it?

I'm glad that everyone in the country is starting to see what's happened to congress and our executive branch: this culture of corruption and absolute power needs to stop. Checks and balances need to be brought back in full force. And Bush needs to be impeached to save our country from the backward slide in the 5th level of hell we seem be falling into.
