Why Are We Surprised About Republican Corruption?

Frist votes aid HCA's business interests - Sunday, 12/04/05:

"Still, an examination of Frist's voting record over his nearly 11 years in the Senate shows a pattern of supporting bills friendly to HCA and to hospitals in general. His votes typically have followed the Republican Party line."

The republican party has shown us their values: bribery, corruption at all levels, blatent disregard for honesty, blatent disregard for the wellbeing of our country, and a clear cynicism for the ideals that this country was founded on. The only solution to the problems that republicans have given us (corruption, hugh trade deficits, a nascent terrorist state in Iraq, and the list goes on) is to reward them with a swft kick out of office.

Corruption of this kind cannot be rewarded. Ever. It's not okay. The appearance of it is bad enough.
